Heathcote Shiraz

Sourced from a vineyard situated on the eastern side of Mt Camel on the red Cambrian soils of Colbinabbin. The resultant wine is medium bodied with lifted red fruit, pepper and spice.

Colour:

Dark red with slight purple hue.

Aroma:

Red fruit, slight violet, some pepper and spice, subtle oak.

Taste / Mouth Feel:

Medium-bodied, abundant tannin, with clean acid to hold it in line. Firm finish with subtle oak and a mineral quality that takes you to the finish. You can tell its Heathcote Shiraz, no DNA test required!!

Wine Makers Note.

A clean, lifted, fruit forward Heathcote Shiraz that avoids high alcohol and over extraction.

Not fined. Not filtered.
